Bill Thurston, age 67, of Idabel, OK passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Texarkana, TX.  He was born the son of Claude Thurston and Ruby Earnest-Thurston on August 10, 1950 in Antlers, OK.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ruby Thurston; wife, Laverne Thurston; one brother, Jimmy Roy (Bo) Thurston; one sister, Jewel Dean Standridge; and one great-grandson, Tristan Zachery Blankenship.

He is survived by two sons, Danny Joe Thornburg and wife Joyce of McAlister, OK and Clinton Vaughn Blankenship and wife Tammy of Checotah, OK; along with one daughter, Thelma Delois Fletcher of Wilburton, OK.
