Barbara Baxter

Barbara Baxter, 86 of Idabel passed away September 25, 2019.  She was born June 6, 1933. She and her family moved to Idabel from Houston in 1979.

She began working for E. Dwain Pollard in the fall of 1979.  She was a staff accountant retiring after thirty-five years there.  She enjoyed going to Hardee’s for her morning coffee and visits with her friends. 

Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church in Idabel and attended regularly until her health left her unable in the last several years.  

She is survived by her dear friends, Phyllis and Leroy Cooper, Kay Hamilton, and Virginia White.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John William Baxter.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Denison Cemetery Pavilion with Dr. Andy Bowman officiating.  Interment will follow.
