Billy Wayne Brakebill

Billy Wayne Brakebill, 58 of Idabel, passed away October 1, 2019 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born July 17, 1961 at Big Spring, Texas, the son of Erma Jean and Billie Brakebill.  

Billy Wayne was honored to be from a military family, having traveled to numerous places throughout his life, including Germany, before settling in Idabel, which was now his home.

A member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Idabel, Billy Wayne had a love for music and was active in the praise and worship team playing guitar.  He was also active with the youth ministries of the church.   

He was kind to all people and was truly blessed by helping people.

Billy Wayne is survived by his mother, Erma Burchfield; children, Windy Brakebill, Jordan Coffman and Jared Coffman; brothers, Phillip Burchfield, Jimmy Brakebill, Mike Burchfield, “Big Jim” Burchfield and Greg Burchfield; sisters, Deborah Oakes and Tammy Porterfield; grandchildren, Kaysen, Kennedy, Aidan, Acelie; special friends, Wanda Ross, Jeremy and Jordan Parsons, and Nikki Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billie Brakebill; step-mother, Anna Brakebill; uncle, Benny Ashton; step-father, James Burchfield; step-brothers, Eddie Burchfield and Darren Burchfield.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Don Myer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery.   

Family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
