Donna Austin

Donna Austin, 69 of Idabel, passed away November 14, 2019 at her home.  She was born September 12, 1950, the daughter of Hairm and Dorothy Hampton. 

Donna was first and foremost a grandmother.  She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally.  She enjoyed cooking for them and her food was delicious.  She was very crafty and made beautiful quilts. She also loved sewing, painting and drawing. 

St. Jude’s was very near and dear to her heart and she was blessed by being able to donate to them often.

Donna leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ronnie Austin of Idabel; children, Terry and Janell Austin of Idabel, Michelle Lincoln of Idabel; grandchildren, Chase and Amanda Austin of Soper, Koty and Shayla Austin of Antlers, MaKayla and Shane Farley of Haworth, Savannah Lincoln of Idabel; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Austin, Cole Austin, Emaree Austin, Jentry Austin, Emma Farley; siblings, Terry and Donna Hampton of Haworth, Brenda and Lyndal McGowan of Haworth; JC Hampton of Hope, Arkansas; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill Austin; Glenda Thompson, Tressa Whitten, Debbie and Mike Clepper, Sam McGowen; life-long special friend, Randi Denison; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hairm and Dorothy Hampton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cecil and Betty Austin; brother, Charlie Hampton; sisters-in-law, Freda Austin and Sandy McGowen; and brother-in-law, Don Austin.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  November 19, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.  Aubrey Thompson will close in prayer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Donna’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
