William L Price

William L. Price, 94 of Idabel, passed away October 3, 2019 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital.  He was born, February 14, 1925 at Sweetwater, Texas, the son of Louis and Bonnibel Price.  He married Mary Watson at Texarkana and they were happily married for nearly sixty-four years before her passing.

William was a member of the First Christian Church in Idabel.  He loved working crossword puzzles, raising roses in his flower garden and singing in the car on road trips.  He never met a stranger and enjoyed socializing with people.

William is survived by his children, Susan Smith and husband, James of Sawyer, Kenneth Price and wife, Janice of Idabel, and Judy McCoy and husband, Leon of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Chrissy Stevenson Miller, Jordan Stevenson, Kent Price, Kyle Price, Rachel Cherry; great-grandchildren, Roxy Miller, Sinjin Miller, Remington Miller, Sevi Miller, Abby Stevenson, Ally Stevenson, Jackson Cherry, Micah Cherry, Lainey Price; numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Price; and sister, Elizabeth Combs.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Denison Cemetery Pavilion at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
