Alline Johnson

Alline W. Johnson, 86 of Idabel, passed away June 16, 2019 at Dallas, Texas.  She was born October 14, 1932 at Idabel, Oklahoma, the daughter of Tobias and Rosa Williston. 

A lifetime resident of Idabel, Alline worked as a receptionist for the US Forestry Service for eighteen years.  She enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing.   She loved to spend time at church with her sisters and go shopping.  She was dedicated to her family and rarely missed watching any of the grandkids playing at their sporting events.  She was their biggest fan, from baseball and softball, to football and basketball. 

When it came to her opinion, she had no “filter”.  She was very outspoken but also loved to cut up with family.  

Alline is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, James and Lora Johnson of Idabel and Dennis Johnson of Antlers; daughter and son-in-law, Maxine and Ted Williams of Broken Bow; daughter-in-law, Teresa McKee; sisters, Effieleene Harley, Stella Williston, and Martha Williston all of Idabel and Virginia Franklin of Bethel; brothers, Ben Williston of Idabel and Angus Willliston of Antlers; grandchildren, Beth Johnson, Kim Jones, Jadyn and Alyssa Johnson, Miranda, Jayme, and Erica Johnson, Cameron and Brett Williams, and Rachel, Annika, Lauren and Julie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Tailor, Khali, Jaxen, Jansen, Silas, Dustin, Jerad, Adisyn, A.B., Deryk, Alexis, Brezie, Paisley, Connor, Greyson and Taloa; great-great-grandson, Jaggar Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn R. Johnson, Jr.; son, Tony Johnson; daughter, Christine Jones; six brothers and one sister.

 A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with  Rev. Ale Txipama & Bro. Tommy Wesley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Canfield Cemetery. 

A wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
