Anthony Clinton “Mildew” Moore, 60 of Idabel, passed away October 5, 2023. He was born September
24, 1963 at Dallas, Texas, the son of Travis Lee and Mary Anna Moore. He was a 1982 graduate of Idabel
High School, where he held the long jump record for many years.
Anthony found Christ at an early age. He was a member of Mt. Sinai Church of Idabel, where he held
the role of the YPWW President until his health failed him. Anthony was a long-time employee at Tyson
Food, until he was no longer able to work after 33 years. Tyson is where he met and married the love of
his life, LaSandra Johnson-Moore. The Lord blessed Anthony to be here to enjoy his 18 th anniversary
alongside his wife on October 3, 2023. He was a hard worker who always put other’s before himself. He
loved his church and his family. He enjoyed seeing the people around him happy, most especially his
wife.
Anthony loved to go fishing and play dominos, but most of all he loved to BBQ and was known as the
“Grill Master”. He and his wife were often called “Mama Bear” and “Papa Bear” because they tried to
take care of everyone that crossed their path. You never left their home hungry. One name that he
never really cared for was “Cleophis”, given by his daughter Coreunna, which was a point of several
disagreements they had along with many laughs.
Anthony is survived by his wife, LaSandra Johnson-Moore; children, Coreunna Walton (Jamie) of
Texarkana, Arkansas, Keylon Johnson, Contra Johnson, Terrance Hawkings all of Idabel, Shatoya Terrell
(Tynel) of Ft Worth, Texas, I’Eshia Moore of Idabel, Antwon Moore of Sawyer, Shawn Moore of Durant;
sister, Virgil Lee Lewis of Idabel; brother, Phillip DeWayne Parker of Spencer, Oklahoma; mother-in-law,
Norma Jean Samuel, father-in-law, Wardell Johnson; brothers-in-law, DeCarlo Johnson, Brad Anderson; closest friend,
Kendell Wayne Walker; cousin, Billy Ray Byrd; special nieces, LaQuinette Lewis, Shelia Hornburger (Billy),
Lagia Parker (Chris), Chantrell Rahim; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Anna Moore; father, Travis Lee; sisters, Mary Lee Ford,
