Betty Jo Raymond

Betty Jo Raymond, 76 of Idabel, entered her eternal home with her Lord and Savior on August 17, 2020 at her home.  She was born October 23, 1943.

Betty was the longest running employee in the Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchise having been employed for nearly thirty-seven years. During that time, she had worked her way up to store manager.  She often held one of the top performance places in her district and she was very proud of her store and team members.  

Betty was gifted with the ability to sew and make beautiful quilts.  Her gift went beyond the ability to make the quilts.  She was a giver and would bless others with the quilts she had made.   She would give to family and friends in need and even to complete strangers. She loved her Lord and it showed through the blessing she was to others.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kathy and Johnny Reece, Christie and Brian Ashbridge, Billy Raymond, Bobby Raymond, Johnny Raymond, Shirlene Level, Linda and Randel Dillard, Larry Raymond; sister, Virginia White; brother, J.T. Creech; twenty grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, W.J. and Rena Creech; son, Leslie Dale Raymond; grandson, Kevin Raymond; two sisters; five brothers; son-in-law, David Rogers; daughter-in-law, Lenora Raymond.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Don Batchelor officiating.  Interment will follow in the Holly Creek Cemetery.  

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
