Betty Walker

Betty Walker, 85 of Valliant, passed away April 26, 2022 at her home surrounded by her children.  She was born October 19, 1936 at Haworth, Oklahoma the daughter of Ruben and Oma Voss Farmer.  

A true matriarch, Betty loved her family dearly.  Every one of them had a special place in her heart.  Everyone who knew her loved her and many children adopted her as their own family.  Having been given the gift to gab, she never met a stranger.  

Betty enjoyed embroidery, canning, making jelly, talking on the phone, and getting the mail.   She lived life to the fullest and had a good heart.

Betty is survived by her children, Brenda Reudewick and husband Darrell of Sallisaw, Dennis Dickenson and wife Nancy of Valliant, Karen Carroll of Sallisaw, Jay Dickenson of Messer, Earl Walker of Valliant; sisters, Artie Taylor of Idabel, Kay Ellis and husband Kenny of Midland, Texas; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and many local friends and friends in Henrietta, Oklahoma. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ruben Farmer, Perry Farmer; sister, Bonnie Harper; grandson, Justin Walker; great-grandson, Oliver Frunk; daughter-in-law, Mary Dickenson. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Doug McClure officiating.  Interment will follow in the Haworth Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
