Bobby James Chadwick “BJ”, 77, passed away February 14, 2024. He was born on September
14, 1946 to Robert Wilburn and Mary Louise Henthorn Chadwick. Following his graduation from
Haworth High School in 1965, he joined the United States Army. Bobby proudly served our
country including a tour of duty in the Vietnam War.
Bobby was united in marriage to Carol LaRue Stucki on July 7, 1967. He was a retired
Journeyman Electrician and jack of all trades to his friends and loved ones. His favorite pastime
was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren no matter what they were doing.
Bobby was a beloved son, brother, husband, dad, grandpa, and friend who will be dearly
missed.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Chadwick.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Carol of The Colony, TX; daughters
Melissa Sherman (Tim) of Decatur, TX, Jamie Meredith (Will) of The Colony, TX, Jennie
Bradshaw (Reggie) of Little Elm, TX, and Megan Chapa (Ross) of Dallas, TX; grandchildren
Devin and Caitlyn Sherman, William, James, Sarah, John, and Emily Meredith, Arianna,
Samuel, and Matthew Bradshaw; mother, Mary Louise Chadwick of Tom; sisters Reba Kestler
(Hoyt) of Little Elm,TX, and Brenda Liechti (Rod) of Redland, OK.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Clardy
Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. John Draper officiating. Interment will follow in the Tom
Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the Clardy Funeral Service
Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
