Brenna Lee Gideon

Brenna Lee Gideon, 14 of Idabel, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020.  She was born October 12, 2005 at Idabel, Oklahoma.  

Brenna was a beautiful child that left us so unexpectedly. Although we wanted to keep her, God had other plans for her.  We know she is looking down on us all, telling us to keep our heads up.  She and Grandpa Gideon will watch over us until God calls us home. 

She attended Haworth Elementary School. She attended numerous church youth programs and was active in Kid Venture at Trinity where she was a member.  She loved God and listening to Christian music.   She had the most genuine and giving heart and always eager to help.  She brought so much joy to her classmates. She was kind and loving and enjoyed selfies with her friends, being silly and going to the skating rink.  She loved to eat at Roma’s.  Just last year she began playing softball and she was very athletic, yet she was a cowgirl at heart.

 She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Margueritte and Rickie Roberts of the home; sisters, Julie Sowell, Brittney Vanmeter, Morgan Greenwood and Shanell Warhop; brothers, Bo Dale Greenwood and Mario Roberts; grandmother, Carol Gideon; great-great-grandmothers, Margueritte Meritte and Betty Butler; aunt Diane Russel; numerous friends and other family members that will always miss her smile.  Fly high my angel. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Buford Gideon.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Idabel with Bro. Andrew Riddle and Sister Linnea Jennings officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
