Caroline Sue Jefferson, 70 of Idabel, passed away September 16, 2019 at her home. She was born March 31, 1949, the daughter of Hazel and Benjamin Williston. She married Leo Jefferson at the Bokchito United Methodist Church on September 30, 2006.
Sue was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, singing, fishing, camping, playing volleyball, traveling and going to church.
Sue leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Benjamin Williston of Idabel; sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Rena Thompson of DeQueen, Arkansas, Troy Thompson of Idabel and Steven Silva of Idabel; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jerry Parker of Idabel; brothers, Ronald Williston, Don Williston and wife, Rosie all of Idabel; brother-in-law, Phillip Turnage of Idabel; grandchildren, Giorgina Thompson, Jadyn Parker, Dale Thompson, Sheyanne Thompson, Shelby Thompson, Skylar Silva, Mary Varela, Elisha Mooneyham, Lavetta Eggers; special friend, Louise Noah; eleven great-grandchildren; five nieces; one nephew; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Jefferson; mother, Hazel Williston; sister, Clisty Turnage; and brother, Michael Dane Williston.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Matt Jefferson and Rev. Rosa Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Canfield Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
