Charles William Rogers “Charlie” was born June 29, 1975 at DeQueen, Arkansas, the son of Joe and Elizabeth Rogers. He was a graduate of Idabel High School.
Charlie exuded humor in everything he did. His goal was getting everyone to laugh and he always accomplished it. Whether he was working or visiting with family, he was always the comedian. He was full of life, big-hearted, and had a hug for everyone. He was a big teddy bear. He never met a stranger, was very friendly and always spoke to everyone making sure to ask about them and their family. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, genuinely cared for people, and his little dog, Foxy, meant the world to him. Charlie enjoyed working on his truck in his free time.
Charlie passed away December 23, 2023 at Dallas, Texas at the age of 48.
Charlie is survived by his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Rogers; brother, Mike “Bean” Rogers and wife Andrea; son, Blake Urena and wife Cristina; grandson, James Roy Urena; niece, Abbie Rogers; nephew, Jackson Rogers; numerous other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Rogers; and his grandparents.
