Charlie Goodlow, Sr.

Charlie Alvin Goodlow, Sr., 87, passed away April 17, 2026, at his home in Idabel,
Oklahoma. He was born September 11, 1938, to Willie Goodlow and Mary
(Walker) Goodlow.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Willie Alvin Goodlow and
Marcus Anthony Goodlow; brothers, O'Neal Goodlow and Irvin Goodlow; and
sister, Willie Mae Woods.
Charlie was a gentle and kind man who loved his family deeply. He enjoyed
cooking and fishing and found joy in the simple things in life. Charlie also enjoyed
planting vegetables. He will be remembered as a devoted family man whose quiet
strength, loving heart, and caring nature touched all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Demetria Goodlow; sons, Brandon Goodlow and
Charles Alvin Goodlow, Jr.; brother, Warren Goodlow; nine grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and
many friends.
Charlie’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clardy Funeral Service.
