Cheryl Francis Stafford

Cheryl Francis Stafford, age 48, of Wright City, Oklahoma, passed away May 31,
2026 in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born April 15, 1978, to James Ray Stafford
and Nelda Lois Gibson.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Larry Thomas.
Cheryl was a kind and compassionate soul who touched the lives of everyone she
met. She loved painting and found joy in expressing herself through art. She also
had a gift for writing poetry and kept heartfelt journals, especially during
challenging times, including after surgery. Cheryl loved with her whole heart,
treated everyone with kindness, and had a special love for children. Her sweet and
caring nature will be remembered by all who knew her.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Daisy Mae, Destiny Renee Davis, and
Dakota Stafford; one cherished grandson; brothers, Jimmy Don Stafford and his
wife, Tracy, and Joshua Stafford; her sister, Carol Whitten; special friends,
Tabatha German, Sam Howard, Joanna Lackey, and Crystal Gallagher; a host of
other family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
Cheryl's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her kindness,
creativity, and unwavering love for others leave a lasting legacy that will never be
forgotten.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3,
2026 at Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. A celebration of life graveside service will
be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Crown Hill Cemetery Pavilion
with Clark Whitfield and Kyle Self officiating.
