Clara Sue Garrett

Clara Sue Garrett, 84 of Idabel, passed away October 5, 2021 at her home.  She was born September 18, 1937 at Soper, Oklahoma, the daughter of Grover and Elsie Bell.

Clara Sue spent many years of her life dedicated to cooking and baking.   Most recently she owned and operated Clara Sue’s Buffet and before that, L & S Chicken.  She was a wonderful cook and even better baker.  She could bake up to twenty-five cakes a day and made many wonderful cakes for family and friends in the community.  

Clara Sue enjoyed plants and flowers, dirt track racing and Nascar, watching horse races and feeding cattle. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Lloyd Garrett of the home; son, Greg Redwine of Muskogee; brother, Jerry Bell of Soper; two grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends will gather at Clardy Funeral Service to pay their final respects Thursday October 7, 2021 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Burial for Clara Sue will be private.
