Danny Dewayne Gray

Danny Gray, 70 of Idabel, passed away September 17, 2024 at Broken Bow, Oklahoma. He was born
October 16, 1953 the son of Bobbie Sue and Aubrey Gray. He was of the Baptist faith.
Very talented in his craft, Danny was sought after for sheetrock, texture and paint. Before that he had
worked many years in the log woods. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitars and working on lawn
mowers in his spare time.
Danny was proud of his children. He was kind, caring and sensitive. He loved to help people. He did
have a stubborn side which earned him the nickname “Knot”.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Gray; mother Bobbie Sue Smith; son, Donald Gray;
brothers, Randy Gray, Donnie Gray, Lonnie Gray; and brother-in-law, Harvey Dodds.
Danny is survived by his daughter, Dana Jarvis; son, Dan Gray; sister, Karen Dodds; grandchildren,
Hunter Gray, Kailey Gray, Morgan Shelton, Lydia Jarvis, Breanna Angel, Odessa Deela, Natalie Guyton;
five great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Clardy Funeral
Service Chapel with John Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Canfield Cemetery, Idabel,
Oklahoma.
