Deloris Ernesteen Chrisman

Deloris Ernesteen Chrisman, 79 of Idabel, passed away December 31, 2022 at Idabel. She was born June 3, 1943 at Idabel, the daughter of Ernest and Dorthy Farley Tipton. She married Manuel Amador at Houston, Texas on August 31, 2016.
Ernesteen loved bluegrass music and working puzzle books. Her love for arrowhead hunting and rock hunting often led to traveling down dirt roads and different areas to find them. She was quite crafty and enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was very outgoing and was always up for a trip or shopping, especially for souvenirs and antiques. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In fact, she and her classmates met once a month for lunch.
Ernesteen leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Manuel Amador; daughters and sons-in-law, Jayleen Stone of Idabel, Julie and Jim Brock of Idabel and Christ Slabaugh of Idabel; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, along with many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dorthy Tipton; daughter, Jonna Slabaugh; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Charles Sasser; and son-in-law, Doug Stone.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Jason Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
