Dennis “Denny” Blalock, 72 of Idabel, passed away October 21, 2021 at his home. He was born May 31, 1949 at Shinewell, Oklahoma the son of Lloyd and Venita Blalock. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He married Betty Aultman on December 31, 1971 at Marathon, Florida.
Denny was a truck driver for many years. He loved going to car shows and races. He was funny and caring. He prayed all the time and had a great love for his Lord and Savior and hosted bible studies at his home often. He loved his best friend and dog, Ginger.
Denny is survived by his sons, Shawn Blalock and wife Brandy of Broken Bow, and Jason Blalock of Redland; brothers, Ben Blalock of Memphis, Tennessee and Bo Blalock of Redland; sister, Nita “Sissy” Blalock of Redland; grandchildren, Jaylon Blalock, Emma and Jack Blalock and their mom, Shelly Randolph; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Denny was reunited with his wife, Betty Blalock who he loved so dearly; parents; and brother, Clay Blalock.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
