Donald Lee Pigg, Jr.

Donald Lee Pigg Jr., affectionately known as J.R. age 75, passed away May 30,
2026, in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was born February 23, 1951, in Idabel, Oklahoma,
to Donald Lee Pigg Sr. and Ruby (Womack) Pigg.
J.R. attended The Church in Millerton, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, hunting,
gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, and making memories with those
he loved. He owned and operated Triangle Heat & Air for many years before later
working as a millwright at International Paper. Known for being headstrong,
hardworking, and fiercely devoted to his family, J.R. loved deeply and lived life
with determination.
On February 27, 1993, he married the love of his life, Sheila Pigg, at their home in
Garvin, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Lee Pigg Sr. and Ruby Pigg.
J.R. is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Pigg; children, Duane Pigg and wife
Rachel, Billie Beth Nance and husband Michael, Terry Trinidad and wife Angie,
Michelle Crays and husband Dee, Lisa Trinidad, and Michael Shane Dye; twenty-
one grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He is also survived by his brother by heart, Tim Roach; sisters-in-law, Darlene
Linchan and husband Loyd and Shirley Dye; brother-in-law, Roger May; along
with a host of family members, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his
memory.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June
13, 2026, at The Church in Millerton, Oklahoma, with Pastor Brent Coffey
officiating.
