Donnie McHargue

Donnie Roy (Buzz) McHargue, 67, of Idabel, Oklahoma, passed away on October 7th 2021, at Paris Regional Medical Center, Paris, TX. 

Donnie was born on August 21, 1954. He lived most of his life in Holly Creek. He enjoyed gathering with family and friends, listening to music and playing his guitar. He was an OU Sooners football fan. He also had a sweet tooth and loved vanilla ice cream. 

Donnie is preceded in death by his father, Roy Thomas McHargue; mother, Sarah Francess Beason; sister, Carolyn Massey; and brother, Jim McHargue. 

Donnie is survived by his sister Cathy Chapman (Billy); sister-in-law, Kay McHargue; and his daughters, Caroline Elkins, Melissa Wood, Celieste Scaggs (Oscar), and Francess Griffith (Zeph); grandchildren, Morris Murray, Brandon Elkins, Caston Elkins, Alyssa Rodgers, Thomas Wood, Katelyn Scaggs, Danielle Scaggs, Macee Scaggs, Bodee Newsom, Trevor Wood, and Jase Griffith; great-grandchild, Maisie Murray; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held Thursday, October 28th 2021 1:00 pm at the Clardy Funeral Home in Idabel.
