Fannie Lucille Britton, 95 of Garvin, was called home to be with her Savior on March 17, 2021 in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born April 11, 1925, the daughter of Clarence and Ila Nix.
She was married to William Robert “W.R.” Britton and out of that marriage, four children were born.
Lucille’s passion was yard sales, whether going to them or having them. She also loved flea markets. She and her husband would camp out at them for days selling goods. Searching with her metal detector also brought her joy, and she discovered all sorts of great finds.
Lucille leaves to cherish her memory, son, Donald “Bear” Britton and wife Paula of Idabel; daughter, Vickie Robbins and husband Tim of Garvin; brothers, Arv Lee Nix of Greenville, Texas, Harlous Nix and wife Betty of Holly Creek; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “W.R.” Britton; two sons, Stanley Britton, Bobby Britton, and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2021 at Rockhill Cemetery in Honey Grove Community with Pastor Zackary Naylor officiating. Burial will follow.
