Hal Jones

Hal Jones, 78 of Idabel, passed away August 22, 2021.  He was born September 8, 1942 the son of William and Lucy Jones.   He married Janet Holderman on June 1, 1968.

Hal was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Idabel.  He loved his church family and loved teaching Sunday School.   He was most recently a car salesman for James Hodge Ford in Idabel. 

Hal leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Janet Jones; sons, Jarrad Jones and wife, Mandy of Mt. Pleasant and Cory Jones of Idabel; grandson, Dalton Tyler Jones of Dallas; step-grandson, Tyler Crabtree of Sherman, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jones and Lucy Norwood; brothers, Clynn Jones and Bill Jones; and sister, Wynn Olliver.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Idabel with Kevin Sain officiating.  Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2021 prior to the funeral services.
