Harvey Farrell Dodds, Jr.

Harvey Farrell Dodds, Jr. passed away June 4, 2024 at the age of 54. He was born December 1, 1969 at Idabel, Oklahoma, the son of Betty and Harvey Dodds, Sr.

 A United States Army Veteran serving during Desert Storm, Harvey received the Bronze Star Medal. He was proud of his service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a shade tree mechanic that was very good at repairs to motors among other things. He enjoyed running equipment. He had a heart for serving people and helping them.

 Harvey is survived by his wife of 29 years, Karen Dodds; step-son, James Lawhon and wife Katie; grandchildren, Kaylan, Mary Grace, Colton, Jase; siblings, Joe Dodds, Deann Dodds, Shannon Dodds, Angela Hill, Tony Richards; step-mom, Wanda Dodds; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shawn Dodds and brother, Corey Dodds.

 A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Canfield Cemetery Pavilion with Robert Dodds and John Gray officiating. Interment will follow.
