Helen Pillow, 93 of Idabel, passed away November 17, 2021. She was born July 1, 1928 at Caledonia, Mississippi, the daughter of Trenton Sullivan and Cora Lee Northington. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Idabel.
Helen married Jack Pillow in 1951. She lived in Smithville, Oklahoma for several years before moving to Missouri to be closer to family after Jack’s passing in 1968. She returned to Idabel in 1994. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She loved gardening, cooking and her cats. She enjoyed life and was always happy.
Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Rosemary Pillow of Idabel; grandchildren, Dr. Bradley Pillow and wife Laurie of Denison, Texas and Robert Pillow and wife Rebecca of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Alex Pillow, Evelyn Pillow, James Pillow and Ella Pillow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
