Jackie LaDae Blackwell, 55 of Broken Bow, passed away March 13, 2025, at Midwest
City, Oklahoma. She was born March 4, 1970 at DeQueen, Arkansas, the daughter of
Jearl Maxine and Jackie Blackwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jearl
Maxine San Juan and Jackie Blackwell; sister-in-law, Misty Blackwell; and infant
grandson, Steven Helms.
Always willing to help people, Jackie went out of her way to assist family, friends, and
even those she didn’t know. She never met a stranger. She was always happy, and
blessing others greatly contributed to her happiness as well as her precious
grandchildren who she loved dearly. Her hobbies included riding motorcycles with
Steve, spending time with her family and collecting trinkets of all sorts.
Jackie is survived by her spouse, Steve Tucker; son, Sherick “Nikki” Johnson of Broken
Bow; daughter, Jaleisa Blackwell of Idabel; brothers, Michael Blackwell of Ada and Max
Blackwell of Holly Creek; sisters, Tammy Simpson of Ada and Peggy Blackwell of
Idabel; step-daughter, Stacie Tucker of Idabel; grandchildren, Jayla, Jacoby, J’Brion,
Shealyn, Shiley and Tadley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the
Holly Creek Cemetery Pavilion. Interment will follow in the Holly Creek Cemetery.
