Jackie Olean (Reese) Cannon

Jackie Olean Cannon, 77, passed away May 3, 2024 at her home in Kerens, Texas. She was born April 29, 1947 in Frogville, Oklahoma to Jack Reese and Dalphna Brown. She married Joseph Cannon in Paris, Texas.

Jackie was a hard worker and the caretaker of her family. She was reliable and honest, telling it like it is and always had everyone’s back. Her family knew they could always count on her as she was very protective of them all. She loved her kids to a fault. Jackie was determined to get her degree and became an accomplished computer technician.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cannon; parents, Jack Reese and Dalphna Brown Reese; son, Johnny Lacy; daughter, Michelle Hagger; granddaughter, JackLynn Lacy; sisters, Mary Bergstrom, Sheila Simpson, and Kathleen Senclair.

She leaves to cherish her memory; son David Ellison and wife Krista, Michael Lacy and wife Marie; brothers, Steve Reese and wife Cindy, Danny Reese and wife Linda; sister, Brenda Hart; granddaughters she raised as daughters, Melissa Pittman and husband Dale, Tabatha Miller; 7 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; other friends and relatives who will forever cherish her memory.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Clardy Funeral Service Chapel just prior to the service.
