James “Randy” Braddy, 63 of Broken Bow, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on September 23, 2021. He was born January 9, 1958 at Ft. Worth, Texas, the son of Howard and Mary Braddy. He married Sharon Hill on September 2, 1972 at Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Randy lived to fish. He was active in the Kiamichi Team Bass Tournaments and also enjoyed fishing Lake Fork in Texas. He enjoyed camping and was a great storyteller. Family time was very special to him especially spending time with his grandbabies. He was a jokester and never met a stranger.
Randy was a faithful Christian who radiated his love for Jesus. He loved sharing the Bible and praying for everyone. His love for Jesus was evident and his final days were filled with peace.
Randy is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Sharon Braddy; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Lani Braddy of Rattan, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Amy Braddy and Dashad Young of Midlothian, Texas; grandchildren, Lexi Cranfield, Wyatt Braddy, Mariana Young and Ethan Young; sister, Teresa Ott of Valliant, special friends, Jimmy Westbrook and his McCurtain County District #3 family; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Assembly of God Church in Wright City, Oklahoma with Bro. Jimmy Westbrook and Bro. David Plank officiating. Interment will follow in the Watson Memorial Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
