James Walter "Biddy" Stout, age 75, of Idabel died at 11:57 am at Medical City Plano on Tuesday, April 21st from complications following a stroke.
Biddy was born on August 29, 1944 in the Honey Grove Community.
He was a graduate of Broken Bow High School and earned an Associate of Arts degree in barbering from the University of Texas Arlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents Katherine (Roberts) Stout and James Stout, and by his former wife Donna (Edwards) Stout.
Biddy is survived by his wife Eddye Gilley Stout, sons Jim and his wife Myra Stout of Garvin, Keith and his wife Renee Stout of Garvin, daughter Jody and her husband Doug Dumont of Moyers, Eddye's children Mark and his wife Gayla Massingill of Gilmer, TX and James and his wife Rinea Raley of Idabel, ten grandchildren: Adam and wife Kristen of Garvin, Zachary Stout of Deland, FL, Maegan Stout of Idabel, Raegan Stout of Haworth, Kameron and his wife April of Garvin, Johnny Stout of Idabel, Mikayla and her husband Dustin Henderson of Tushka, Abby Dumont of Moyers, Matthew Massingill of Gilmer, TX, and Hollin Raley of Idabel, brothers Dean Stout of Carson City, NV and Eugene Stout of Pauls Valley and sister Sue (Stout) Purvis of Grand Saline, TX, five great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Biddy was a devoted member of Honey Grove Church.
Biddy worked as a small agriculture business owner, proud owner of the Honey Grove Machine Shop, machine shop operator and as a barber.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 24th from 5 to 9 pm. at Clardy Funeral Service, Idabel.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00 am at the Garvin Cemetery. Pastor Deannie Lambert will officiate.
Pallbearers are Adam Stout, Zachary Stout, Kameron Stout, Johnny Stout, Hollin Raley, Matthew Massingill, Mike Hutson and Jim Knight
