Jimmy Keith Sipes

Jimmy Keith Sipes, 58, passed away March 20, 2025 at Idabel, Oklahoma. He was
born February 13, 1967, at Idabel, the son of Nelson and Ruby Large Sipes. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Nelson Sipes; sister, Pam Sipes and
brother, Sammy Sipes.
Jimmy was a graduate of Valliant High School and enjoyed playing football for the
Bulldogs. He was a very hard worker and considered working his hobby. He moved to
Odessa, Texas for five years where he opened a dent less auto repair shop, then
returned to his roots here in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. He had a great life, he was a
good person, he had a big heart, but the most important thing in life to him was his
family. He cherished the time he got to spend with his family and the memories he made
with them. He really took pride, in the last several years, becoming a healthier person
so he could be there for his daughter, Shelby.
He is survived by his son, Joey Sipes and wife Terra; daughters, Summer Klaus and
husband Tyler, Shelby Sipes, Brittany Blackwell and husband Robert; brothers, Dennis
Sipes and wife Mary, Terry Sipes, Billy Sipes, Tim Sipes; sisters, Barbara Laney and
husband Jim, Anita Cairns and husband Dave, Jan Sipes, Vicki Joiner and husband
Mike; sister-in-law, Polly Sipes; grandchildren, Peyton Sipes, Chloe Sipes, Leah Sipes,
NovaLynn Klaus, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2025
at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. David Flanary officiating.
