Joe Beeman

Joe Beeman, 64 of Idabel, passed away May 18, 2024 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born September 22, 1959 at Texarkana, Texas, the son of George and Betty Beeman. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Idabel.

An avid outdoorsman, Joe enjoyed spending time camping, hunting and fishing.  His family was very important to him as well as his church.

Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Beeman; daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Chance Westbrook; grandchildren, Camber Westbrook, Erica Westbrook, Shaylee Schaffer; great-grandchildren, Dusty Schaffer, Sadie Schaffer; brother, David Matthews and wife Diane; sisters, Charlotte England, Cheryl Sims and husband Franklin; nieces and nephews, Kacy Matthews, Nikkie Level, Rusty Level, Amanda Ashabranner; step-mom, Sam Beeman; numerous other relatives and many friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Brenda Matthews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Idabel with Bro. Doug Clements officiating.  Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
