Joyce Gray

Joyce Jo Gray, 68 of Idabel, Oklahoma, passed from this life to her Heavenly Home on September 3, 2021.  She was born in Idabel, Oklahoma to Joe Chapman and Stella Fay (Flood) Gray on August 14, 1953.

Joyce lived in McCurtain County most of her life.  She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, family and friends.  She loved to hunt, fish and loved to sing.  She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her church.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Chapman Gray and Stella Faye Taft; husband, Bobby Mearl Hankins; daughter, Shirley Ann Hankins; and grandson, Nathan Dale Westbrooks.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Bobby Joe Hankins of Harris, Oklahoma and Doyle Mearl Hankins Vandiver of Foreman, Arkansas; daughters, Rachel June Westbrooks of Idabel, Brittney Dawn Hankins of Choctaw, Oklahoma; sister, Georgia Ann and husband, Dale Gross of Comanchi, Texas; one niece, one nephew, several grandchildren; one great-grandson, one great-granddaughter due in November; a host of other family and friends.

Family and friends will gather at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Cattle Crossing.

A celebration of life memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Canfield Cemetery.
