Judy Irene Nicholson, 69, of DeKalb, TX, formally from Tom, OK, passed away March 3, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born September 28, 1952, in DeKalb, TX, to Earl “Buck” and Willie Mae (Fairless) Clowers.
Judy was of the Baptist Faith and had moved to DeKalb 20 years ago from Haworth, OK. She enjoyed hunting and camping, but her favorite hobby was spending time with her family. She loved being with her grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Judy could be found sewing and crocheting blankets, and making items for her grandchildren.
Judy married the love of her life, Ronny Nicholson, in Tom, OK, on May 22, 1970.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Willie Mae Clowers; and a sister, Linda Clowers.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Ronny Nicholson, of DeKalb; daughters, Roneisa Matero and spouse, Steve Burger, of Valliant, and Wendie Cox, of Haworth; brother, Robert Baker, and wife, Shirley, of Broken Bow; sisters, Eva Mae Hopper, of Smithville, Debbie Cleveland, and husband, Max, of Tom, and Janice Miller, and husband, Jeff, of Dallas, NC; grandchildren, Jaci Jackson, Jade Colley, Brianna Shultz, and husband, Grant, and Dante Matero, and wife, Skylar; great-grandchildren, Clayton Colley, Peyton Shultz, Weston Shultz, Breyer Pruett, and Apphia Matero; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Tim Moyer, of Broken Bow, Michael Schoolcraft, of Broken Bow, Neal Marable, of Broken Bow, and Mark Compton, of Broken Bow; her extended family and her extra kids; along with many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist with funeral arrangements and final expenses in care of Roneisa Matero. Arrangements are being handled by Clardy Funeral Service.
