Kenneth Paul Powers

Kenneth Powers, 57 of Dekalb, Texas, passed away June 20, 2019 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.  He was born November 8, 1961 at Prior, Oklahoma, the son of Kenneth and Ruth Powers. 

Kenneth owned a construction company called Vision’s Installations.  He also worked farming equipment, baling hay during the summers.  

A die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan, Kenneth lived life to the fullest through simple pleasure.  He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a positive way.  He enjoyed chatting with family and friends and was very proud of his family. 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ken Powers and Chelsee of Bartlesville; daughter, Kendra Barron; granddaughters, Alyssa and Treya Powers of Bartlesville; numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel in Idabel, Oklahoma.  Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
