Larry Mayo, 73 of Idabel, passed away June 6, 2021 at his home. He was born December 10, 1947 at Clebit, Oklahoma the son of Hub and Bertha Mayo.
Larry owned and operated Southeast Machine Shop in Idabel since the 70’s. He made many friends through the years with his funny and entertaining personality. He was a great father and “hubby boy” and was very particular in how his lawn looked. His favorite places to visit were A.J’s, Bunches and taking advantage of the senior discount at McDonald’s.
Larry is survived by his son, Heath Mayo of Ft. Towson; daughter, Tiffany Williams and husband, Carman of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Lane Mayo, Kinsley Mayo, Carmany Williams, Crockett Williams; great-grandchildren, Lilian Mayo, Everly Mayo, Reed Mayo; nieces, Beverly Bensusen, Donna Martinez; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Scott Mayo, brothers, Don Mayo and Bobby Mayo; nephews, Eric Whisenhunt and Randy Whisenhunt.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Eagletown Cemetery. Interment will follow.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
