Larry T. McKee

Larry “Sam” Trenver McKee, 78 of Idabel, passed away October 4, 2021 at Hill Nursing Home.  He was born August 26, 1943 at the Redland Community, the son of Martin and Grethel McKee.  

Sam enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very good at making people laugh and always expressed what he had on his mind.

Sam is survived by his sons, Larry McKee, Little Sam McKee; daughter, Linda McLarnon; sisters, Sue Needham and Juannie Shirey; special niece and caretaker, Janet Loucks; and numerous other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wayne McKee, Roger McKee, and Kenny McKee; and four nephews.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. October 5, 2021 at the Redland Cemetery.  Interment will follow.
