Lemanuel Gonzales, 39 of the Holly Creek Community, passed away August 25, 2024. He was born July
30, 1985, the son of Manuel and Joyce Gonzales. He was a graduate of Broken Bow High School and a
2005 graduate of Force Welding School. He married Sara Mangus at DeQueen, Arkansas on June 12,
2008.
An avid sports fan, Lemanuel loved the Kansas City Chiefs and the OU Sooners. His hobbies included
video gaming of any kind, the casino and a good barbeque with his family. He was a humble and kind
man who was always willing to help out, especially helping his son with his lawn care business. He loved
being with his two sons. He enjoyed joking and had a nickname for everyone.
Lemanuel was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Gonzales and sister, Kaye White.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Gonzales of the home; father, Manuel Gonzales of Garvin; sons,
Nathaniel Gonzales and Blake Gonzales of the home; brothers, Louis James of Broken Bow, Larry James
and wife Rhonda of Idabel, Leslie James of Idabel; sisters, Linda White of Idabel, Loyce Polk and husband
Mack of Broken Bow, Lawana James of Broken Bow, Lemanda James of Idabel, Manuela Gonzales of
Idabel, Marci Frost of Garvin; father-in-law, Kevin Reid and spouse Gary Harris of Holly Creek; mother-in-
law, Susan John and husband Johnny of Idabel; brother-in-law, Michael Mangus of Idabel; sister-in-law,
Ashley Arriaga and spouse José Lopez of Broken Bow; special brother from another mother, Alonzo
Tushka; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Clardy Funeral
Service Chapel with Bro. Ronald Lewis and Larry James officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly
Creek Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral
Service Chapel.
