Leonard Eugene Brewer III

Leonard Eugene Brewer III, 69 passed away March 7, 2025 at his home in Eagletown.  He was born May 29, 1955, the son of Earl D. Brewer and Clara Sue Posey. 

Leonard loved to hunt and fish. In his fishing stories, he always shined and had the biggest catch whether it was true or not. His family was very dear to him and he loved life in general.   He was the star entertainer at family gatherings.  Often times he was mistaken for “Uncle Si” and he would play along, just to entertain the kids.   

Leonard is survived by his son, Jonathan Van Fleet; grandson Cody Van Fleet; special cousins, Keith Brewer and Steve Brewer; step-brother, Terry Brewer; sisters, Ruthie Turner and Charlene Moore; numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Clara Sue Harris and Earl Brewer; sister, Debbie Farmer; brothers, Frank Lee Williams, Ricky Brewer; grandmother, Lela Posey.

Family will host a private inurnment at a later date.
