Linda Gayle (Paul) Dyer

Linda Gayle Dyer, 78, of Idabel, passed away on May 13, 2025, in her hometown of Idabel,
Oklahoma. She was born on February 28, 1947, to Leon Paul Sr. and Alma (Cedars) Smith.
Linda was a vibrant and spirited woman who brought energy and warmth wherever she went.
She loved gardening and flowers, especially bright colors that reflected her lively personality.
She enjoyed swimming, fishing, hiking, and picnicking—anything that allowed her to be
outdoors. She also had a special fondness for wind chimes, decorating, shopping, grilling,
sweets, and Dr. Pepper.
Linda had a strong love for her family and her dogs, and she never missed an opportunity to
spend time with loved ones. She was loud, sassy, full of fun, and always made her presence
known. Her joy for life and deep love for her family will always be remembered.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Rick Dyer and wife Chiara; daughter, Rindy Dyer Morris and
husband Stephen Morris; daughter-in-law, Joanna Dyer; brothers, Leon Paul Jr. and wife
Cathrine; Raymond Carl Paul and wife Shirley. Linda also leaves behind her grandchildren:
Morgan Thorne and husband Chasson, Alyson Morris, Sofia Dyer, Dylan Dyer, and Andrew
Dyer; and great-grandchildren: Makenna Thorne, Averie Thorne, Brynlee Thorne, and Brystol
Morris. She will be missed by a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel just prior to the service.
