Marcus Williams

Marcus Williams, 72 of Garvin, passed away August 13, 2021 at Texarkana, Texas.  He was born September 14, 1948 at Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Hampton and Frances Ott Williams.  

Marcus loved helping people, joking around, working on anything mechanical, spending time with his grandkids and fishing.

Marcus is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lawanna Howard of Garvin; grandkids, William, Rosalea and Kenton Howard all of Garvin; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Vivian Williams of Idabel; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosanna and Jim Shimwell, Rita Anna, Loretta and Ivan Battiest, Lydia and Mike McClure; nephews, Trent Williams, Bradley Williams; niece, Katrina James; great-nephews, Tyler James, Jeremy James and Cody James; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be held at the Canfield Cemetery, Wednesday August 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Virgil Owens officiating.  Interment will follow.
