Arthur Mark Severn of Idabel, passed away January 15, 2021 in Texarkana, Texas at the age of 78. He was born December 8, 1942 at Texarkana, Arkansas to Hubert and Helen Ruth Severn. Mark was a faithful member of the Redland Church of Christ. He was actively involved in church. He served in Viet Nam and was part of the 173rd Airborn Division. After his discharge from the Army, he became a pipeline welder and inspector. He worked for many years.
Mark loved to ride horses and his Harley when he was younger. He was a jack of all trades. He loved the outdoors and driving his tractor. He was an amateur boxer. Mark was stubborn but very outgoing and never met a stranger. He loved Haworth basketball. He was the most loving and giving person.
Mark and Revena Strube were married at Tom on November 22, 1967.
Mark is survived by his wife, Revena Severn; daughter, Catherine Voss and husband Johnny; brother, Ronnie Severn and wife Sue; granddaughters, Olivia Voss, Victoria Voss, Sarah Voss; nephew, Marty White; other relatives and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; Hubert Bob Severn and Helen Ruth Severn Gill; and step-father, Marshall Gill.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Redland Church of Christ in Redland Community with Aubrey Thompson and Corey Green officiating. Interment will follow at Redland Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
