Martha Glenn, 91 of Idabel, passed away December 1, 2021 at Texarkana, Texas. She was born July 14, 1930 at Short, Oklahoma, the daughter of Milton and Levada Pollard Watkins.
Strong in her faith, she was a true Christian lady. She married Levi Glenn on February 26, 1951 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Norris Freewill Baptist Church. She and Levi moved from Red Oak, Oklahoma to Idabel in 1992.
A true homemaker, Martha was an excellent cook, family caretaker and immaculate housekeeper. She was easy going and loving. She was an accomplished quilter and seamstress, making many of her children’s clothes. As she became older and her family cared for her, she always shared with them how appreciative she was for their actions. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the voice and doing word search puzzles. She was a wonderful mother, grandma and granny.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy and Galen McBrayer of Idabel and Sheila and Stan Vinson of Wilburton; grandchildren, Amber and James Siegel of Edmond, Natasha Vinson, Caleb Vinson and Zackary Vinson all of Wilburton; great-grandson, Bradley Siegel of Edmond; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Levi Glenn (1994); infant grandson, Christopher Vinson; and all of her siblings.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Denison Cemetery Pavilion with Leon Glenn and Troy Glenn officiating. Interment will follow.
