Martha Alice (Dillihunt) Williams

Martha Alice (Dillihunt) Williams, 76, entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2026,
in Paris, Texas. She was born November 3, 1949 to Merchant Dillihunt, Sr. and
Lula (Gregory) Dillihunt. Martha was the youngest of eleven children and was
deeply loved by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Verlene Dillihunt,
Mary Catherine Moore, Jewel Major, Bobbie Jean Alford, Lillie Mae Johnson,
Henry Dillihunt, Elzie Lee Dillihunt, Merchant Dillihunt, Jr., and Joe Dillihunt.
A lifelong resident of Idabel, Oklahoma, Martha attended Westside Church of
Christ and Lynn Lane Church of Christ. She was known for her kind and giving
heart, her honesty, and her strong spirit. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, singing
gospel music with her sisters in the “Rising Stars,” and dancing. Martha also loved
dressing her finest and always took pride in her appearance.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Larry Williams; children,
Corey Williams and Katrina Williams; sister, Georgia Jordan; family she loved as
her grandchildren, Ace Cooper, Nakia Grigg, Mattisyn Haney, and Amauria
Haney; nephew, Lonzie Lee Belcher, whom she loved as a brother; special niece
whom she babysat, Phyllis Jordan-Howard; special nieces, Lois Dillihunt, and Tonie Smith;
favorite great-nieces, Katrice Scott, Shyantha Dillihunt; favorite great-nephews,
La’Mario Scott, Eugene Deshon Hall; cousin, Callie Williams; sisters-in-law,
Merlene Williams and Sandra Williams; along with a host of nieces, nephews,
family, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026 at
Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00
p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Lynn Lane Church of Christ with Jimmie Williams
and Desmond Walls officiating. Interment will follow in Williamston Cemetery.
