Marvalene Chandler, 84 of Idabel, passed away March 3,2022 at her home. She was born, December 19, 1937 at Pickens, Oklahoma, the daughter of Richard and Viola Chapman Harder. She married Calvin Chandler June 21, 1957.
Marvalene was a homemaker who loved her family greatly. She was the best mom and grandma and great-grandma. She was beautiful inside and out. She enjoyed family gatherings and could make the best coconut cream pie along with many other dishes. She like to crochet, sew and garden. She especially loved her roses.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Chandler; sister, Louise Hampton; baby brother, Larry Harder; and grandson, Paden McGough.
Marvalene is survived by her husband of 64 years, Calvin Chandler; children, Randy Chandler and wife Marsha of Two Egg, Florida, Cheryl McGough and husband Robert of Idabel, Donna Jackson and husband Kent of Wright City; grandchildren, Kimberly Chandler, Jack Chandler, Matthew Chandler, Christie Yoder, Micheal Schoenborn, Mandy Morgan, Miranda Rogers, Asher Blackwell; Lexie Harris; sixteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Ina Reid, Delmar Harder and wife Mildred, Jean Rector, Jerry Harder and wife Dixie; numerous other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Russell McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
