Mary Helms

On Saturday, June 13th, 2020 Mary Ann Helms, drifted off to be with her sons and mother at the age of 47. 

Mary was born on May 18th, 1973 to Lorene Rolen Tom and Fred Daniel Helms in Idabel Oklahoma. Mary had been a lifelong resident of the Idabel area. Mary attended school in Idabel and had been employed as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for many years. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends as well as art and music. But most of all she loved her mother with whom she spent more time together than apart.

Mary was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew and Lucille Rolen; sons, Justin and Jonny Collum; step-father, Joe Clark Tom; and mother, Lorene Rolen Tom.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories her son, Andrew Michael Helms and daughter Amber Lucille Collum. She also leaves two sisters and three brothers, Lisa and husband, Rickey Robinson of Durant, OK, Tracey and spouse, Robert Bohlman of Idabel, OK, Michael Tom of Durant, OK, and Joshua Helms and Jacob Helms of Idabel, OK. Eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and many friends.

Mary’s Family will host a private family celebration of Mary’s life at Roma’s Italian Restaurant in Idabel Oklahoma, Thursday June 18, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
