Minnie B. Hallum

Minnie B. Hallum, age 89, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.  She was born June 30, 1928 in Friendship, AR to parents, William Franklin Clark and Beulah Davis Clark.  Minnie was well-known and liked by all who met her.  She cared for people and served many home-cooked meals from her small kitchen table over the years.  There was always plenty of food, love and fellowship in that white house on the hill in Garvin, OK.  Minnie loved the outdoors (fishing, hunting, working in her garden) and also taking pictures of each event she attended.  Minnie B. had a great attitude toward life and was a one-of-a kind, fun, person to be around.  She loved telling stories and each time she opened her mouth, a little rhyme of some sort would just roll out.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Bertha Williamson, Jesse Thorpe, and Frankie Lee Miller; a brother, Andy Clark; her husband, Charlie Hallum; and son, Curtis Hallum. 

Minnie is survived by one brother, Henry Clark and wife, Faye, of Valliant, OK; two grandsons, James Hallum and wife, Dana, of Broken Bow, OK, and Scott Blankenship and wife, Debi, of Dallas, TX; two granddaughters, Candy Doss and husband, Blake, of Camden, AR, and Jodi Baxter of Idabel, OK; two great-grandsons, Brett Hallum and wife, Jerrica, of Broken Bow, OK, and Tyler Hallum of Broken Bow, OK; four great-granddaughters, Madisyn and Macee Hallum of Broken Bow, OK, and Ryleigh and Shelby Doss of Camden, AR; and lots of family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel in Idabel, OK, Saturday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m with Blake Doss officiating.  Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery in the Forest Grove Community.  The family will receive visitors at Clardy Funeral Service, Friday, June 22 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m.
