Nancy Lynn Wood

Nancy Lynn Wood, age 73, passed away September 16, 2025.
She was born June 27, 1952, to James Willson and Marion
(Sullivan) Willson, who preceded her in death.
Nancy was a private person whose quiet strength and faith
guided her life. As a devoted Seventh-day Adventist, she
believed that when a person dies, they rest, awaiting the Second
Coming. Her faith shaped her outlook on life and gave her
peace.
She had a deep love for the outdoors, whether working around
the house, going camping, or enjoying a simple boat ride. Nancy
found joy in creativity and organization; everything had its
place, from the décor inside her home to the plants and
ornaments she cared for outside. She was also an animal lover
who never declared a favorite between cats and dogs, as she
cherished both equally.
Nancy’s greatest joy was her family. She adored her daughter,
Kim, and was a devoted mother and wife. Her love extended to
her grandchildren, with whom she shared a special bond.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Wood; daughter,
Kimberly Prestidge and her husband Michael; grandchildren,
Chandler Ray and Chelsi Ray; sister, Jane Willson; and
stepsons, Roger Wood Jr. and Curtis Wood.

Private services were held September 19, 2025.
