Norma Pitt

Norma F. Pitt, 77 of Moon, passed away June 2, 2022 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital.  She was born October 16, 1944, the daughter of Norman and Evelyn Pond Vandiver. 

A true matriarch, Norma was the glue that held her family together.  She was a spitfire who kept everyone in line. Her great-grandbabies meant the world to her and she loved playing with them.  She enjoyed family gatherings, working in her yard, gardening, canning and cooking.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of fifty nine years, Edward Pitt; sons and daughters-in-law, Duane and Sherri Pitt of Fareborn, Ohio, Todd and Marlo Pitt of Moon; grandchildren, Justin Pitt, Markki Hedrick, Ryan Maclean, Matthew Maclean, Spencer Maclean, Sabrina Pitt, Kaysee Grice, Breana Graham, Morgan Pitt; brothers, Norman Vandiver, Jr and wife Peggy, Perry Vandiver and wife Becky; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.  

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and four sisters.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Virgil Owens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Haworth Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
