Norma Jane Dingess passed through this life to be with her Heavenly Father on February 13, 2025. She was born on January 31, 1942 in Eagletown to Jim B. and Katie Hadley Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and love of her life, Therrell Dingess; a daughter, Bonita Dingess; two brothers, J.B. Johnson and Bill Johnson; sister, Pauline Ward Taylor Salinas.
Norma Jane is survived by daughter, Janice Guest Hill and Howard; son, James “Buddy” Coleman; daughter, Jacque Dingess Shelby; son, Mike Dingess and daughter, Therlyn Dosher and Gene. She was blessed with a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jane was an avid fan of yard and estate sales. She amassed a large and amazing collection over the years.
Fishing was another passion that she loved, but when asked, “where’d you catch them?” her answer was always “Floocy Creek.”
A private ceremony is planned with inurnment in the Denison Cemetery.
