Our beautiful baby girl, Oaklynn Drew Burris, was born straight into the arms of Jesus at 4:40 p.m. on September 15, 2024. She weighed 1 lb 8 oz and was
13 inches long.
My heart aches as our time together was too short and I long for the precious moments we didn’t get to share. You were too precious for this world and you were called to become our angel to protect and watch over us.
I know I have my moments of weakness and the sadness feels overwhelming, but knowing you are mine and with me daily is my motivation to power on.
I promise I will keep you in my heart and soul and I will make sure to live my life in honor of you. I will take you to the mountain peaks and the oceans wide.
You will forever be by my side.
And one day we will meet again my little love.
A reunion to last all eternity.
But until then I will hold you close to my heart and have peace knowing you are safe and sound…..
Oaklynn is survived by her mother, Skylar Brie Vallejo; father, Zadyn Burris; grandparents, Jessica Nanez and Tyrone Wallace, Shatia Titus and Johnny Burris; great-grandparents, Debra Howell and Danny Howel; aunts and uncles Destiny and Jonathon Falling, Kelsey and Kendell Franklin, Caleb and Toxey Franklin, Jada and Jacolbi Vallejo, Matthew Nanez, Zion Burris, Kamiya Mack; two cousins, Gillian and Greyson; and numerous other relatives.
